Reviews
Location is perfect. It is quite quiet even though this hotel is surrounded by bars. The reception staff is very kind. The room is also nice, but there is a potential to clean a bit better.
Had a great experience here! I really loved the location and neighborhood, and I felt like it gave a true sense of what living in Amsterdam could be like. Noting for others though that it is a ways from Amsterdam central / tourist areas (in a very good way!) but accessible by metro or a decent walk.
There are several restaurants, bars, cafes, and a grocery store within blocks. There’s also a laundry mat on the corner which was helpful.
The room was basic but clean, with a comfy bed, and had efficient wifi. Staff was very nice as well.
Had a great time here. Room was great, very boutique, with a rainfall shower and armchairs as well as a Nespresso. The neighborhood is relaxed, non-touristy. There is a nice bar/brewery across the street, a supermarket a half block away, and a night shop for late night snacks. Down the street is a laundromat. I could have stayed a month or more and used it as a base to explore the city. Fantastic location.
The building itself has 4 floors of rooms as well as the ground floor, with a staircase and elevator. The people running it are very kind.
There is a restaurant attached with minimal services at the time of writing, coffee and pastries. They started they plan to open the full cafe soon.
Some rooms don’t have AC. Make sure you ask before you make your reservation during the summer.
Rooms are clean.
When stayed in this hotel for four days as a group of four friends. The room was clean, the bathroom big enough. being Italian, we missed the bidet and a mini fridge in the room. the hotel has a large cafeteria useful for breakfast and the reception is open 24 hours a day. Considering the price and the possibility to rent bicycles in the neighborhood, we recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel, no frills. A little off the beaten track but 2 tram lines are close
Good budget hotel. The people very friendly and they will help you with everything you want. The rooms are quite small and with a small bathroom. But they are very clean and perfect for a sleep, bit don't expect luxury. Full of good and nice places to eat nearby. You can take the tram from the airport or towards the city centre.
OK, folks, this is not a regular hotel you could expect. The room I got was really tiny and really clean. A perfect place to spend a night or two, if you're on a trip. The staff is what you would adore this place for: super friendly and super helpful. Hey, owner, these people deserve a bonus! Cheers.
